This special day promises to be a great day out at the races with a 3 course lunch in the Pavilion and drinks for all attendees in a VIP reserved area just for ulinkcard members. Best of all - it's free for all those that come along! It's a wonderful chance to enjoy some racing and the company of other ulinkcard members in a relaxed atmosphere. We're offering 2 places for each member business - a chance to bring your partner along or a chance to reward some staff with a special treat.
Preview of the meeting (tips etc.) will be provided in The Pavilion by leading media personality Gary Harley, who will also conduct a Punter's Club during the afternoon.
We are also able to offer free tickets for general admission to the racetrack for all members to hand out to valued customers, suppliers and staff.
Sponsor A Race
As well as being able to enjoy a great day out there is the opportunity to promote your brand further through sponsoring an individual race. Call it the 'Your Business Maiden' and enjoy the increased exposure - some of the benefits are:
- Suitable advertising space will be made for your business in the race book
- Space will be made available for you to promote your business with banners or signs in the saddling enclosure
- You, as the sponsor, will have your photo taken with the winning horse, and then accompany the successful connections to the 'Winner's Bar' for celebratory drinks.
- Sky Racing will telecast all races live on more than 6000 outlets throughout Australia, featuring the sponsor's names.
- All races are telecast live to the corresponding Sydney meeting, featuring the sponsor's name.
- The sponsors name will be featured in more than 2000 TAB agencies (including PUB TAB) in NSW alone.
- SKY Racing Radio will broadcast races to all TAB agencies in NSW and to radio links throughout the state and interstate as well. Again the sponsors name will be mentioned
- Each race will be televised on course and replayed during the afternoon
-Newcastle Jockey Club will advertise the meeting with a number of media outlets including the Newcastle Herald, NBN Television and radio station SKY Racing Radio. There will be an opportunity to have your brand within some of this advertising.
- The Newcastle Herald publishes a form guide on the morning of the meeting, with the Broadmeadow fixture featured prominently and provides a comprehensive report the next working day. Sponsor's names are published on the race fields, including the Friday Form Guide.
It all adds up to a lot of extra exposure, particularly when tied in to the Tradies Day which will be actively promoted through Toohey's outlets throughout the Newcastle area.
But wait there's more! If you sponsor a race there you will also receive an additional two tickets to the Pavilion for the 3 course lunch and free drinks throughout the race day.
